Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with any repair or service.

1. Service Agreement

By engaging our services, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below. All repairs are carried out upon customer approval of the quoted price.

2. Diagnosis & Quotation

All devices may undergo an initial inspection to determine the fault. Any quote provided is based on the diagnosed issue and may be subject to change if additional faults are discovered.

3. Repair Risks

While all due care is taken, electronic repairs carry inherent risks. Zero1 Tech Repairs is not liable for: • Pre-existing faults or hidden defects • Data loss during repair • Further damage caused by fragile or previously repaired devices

4. Apple Device Repairs Disclaimer

During the repair of Apple devices, the system may display notifications such as "Unknown Part" or "Display/Battery could not be verified." This is a standard system message and does not necessarily affect the functionality of the device. Please note that opening and repairing the device will void any remaining manufacturer's warranty. Additionally, the original water and dust resistance may be compromised once the device is opened. Zero1 Tech Repairs does not guarantee the restoration of waterproofing and will not be held liable for any liquid damage occurring after the repair.

5. Parts & Warranty

• Replacement parts may be original or high-quality aftermarket unless otherwise specified. • A limited warranty of 90 days applies to parts and labour unless stated otherwise. • Warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, or misuse after repair.

6. Data Responsibility

Customers are responsible for backing up all data before submitting their device. Zero1 Tech Repairs is not responsible for any data loss.

7. Payment Terms

Full payment is required upon completion of the repair unless otherwise agreed. Upon approval of a quotation, the device must be left with Zero1 Tech Repairs or a 50% deposit is required to confirm the repair, for repairs requiring parts to be ordered. Devices will not be released until payment has been made in full.

8. Uncollected Devices

Devices must be collected within 3 months after the customer has been notified that the repair is complete. Devices left uncollected beyond this period may incur storage fees and may be disposed of or sold to recover repair and storage costs.

9. Customer-Supplied Parts

If customers provide their own parts, Zero1 Tech Repairs is not responsible for the quality, compatibility, or any damage resulting from those parts. No warranty is provided on customer-supplied components.

10. Goods in Transit

Zero1 Tech Repairs cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, or delays while your device is in transit. However, if any issues arise, we will assist you in lodging a claim with the courier or shipping provider.

11. Liability Limitation

Zero1 Tech Repairs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the device.

12. Refund Policy

Refunds are only provided if a repair cannot be completed. Labour costs $30 will still apply for time spent on diagnosis and attempted repair.

13. Privacy

Customer information is collected solely for service and record-keeping purposes and will not be shared with third parties.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with the repair, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
